/ABOUT THE PROJECT

Duncan Harwood Custom Homes have acquired the property known as 13181 Ilderton Road in Ilderton, ON. With the support of Siv-ik Planning and Design Inc., they are planning a new residential development on the southern portion of the site. 

We understand that change in neighbourhoods warrants conversation. This website provides an opportunity for those who are interested to learn about the vision for the site early on in the planning process and to share their thoughts. The project team is committed to engaging with local residents at multiple points in the process.

In January 2024, the project team published and shared our "Project Backgrounder" to help residents learn more about the planning process and the preliminary vision for redevelopment of this site.

Upon careful consideration, the project team has chosen to move forward with the redevelopment of only the southern portion of the property at this time. Any development to occur on the north portion of the site will be through a separate application process, this website will be updated with that information at that time.

Stemming from the preliminary design principles which we shared previously and considering feedback received through the first phase of our engagement program, we have prepared a detailed Concept Plan for the project. The Concept Plan is the next step in the evolution of the design for this development.

The Concept Plan includes six 2-storey townhouse buildings, containing a total of 26 units. Vehicular parking is provided by way of integrated/attached garages and individual driveways. The design also includes seven visitor parking stalls in addition to the resident parking.
