/ABOUT THE PROJECT

2857236 Ontario Inc. c/o Royal Premier Homes (the developer) has acquired the site at 1474 Kilally Road in London, ON. With the support of Siv-ik Planning and Design Inc., they are exploring a potential new low-rise, medium density development on the site. 

We understand that change in neighbourhoods warrants conversation. This website provides an opportunity for those who are interested to learn about the vision for the site early on in the planning process and to share their thoughts. The project team is committed to engaging with local residents at multiple points in the process.

In January 2023, the project team published and shared our "Project Backgrounder" to help residents learn more about the planning process and the preliminary vision for the redevelopment of the site.

Stemming from the preliminary design principles which we shared previously and considering feedback received through the first phase of our engagement program, we have prepared a detailed Concept Plan for the project. The Concept Plan is the next step in the evolution of the design for this project.

 

The Concept Plan includes one 3-storey townhouse building with six units and one 3-storey back-to-back townhouse building with twelve units. Required vehicle parking is provided by way of integrated/attached garages and individual driveways. The design also includes two visitor parking stalls.

The community engagement portion of this project has now concluded as this project has been approved by City of London Council.

/HOW IS MY                   FEEDBACK USED?

Feedback received through our outreach program will be used to inform our understanding of the local context and, where possible, shape some elements of the design of the project. We acknowledge that change is difficult and that no outcome will satisfy all interested parties completely. As such, the project team cannot integrate everything suggested by our neighbours and the community at-large. However, we commit to:
