/ABOUT THE PROJECT
Royal Premier Developments have acquired the site at 1982 Commissioners Road E. and a portion of 1964 Commissioners Road E. (39T-19501, Block 62) in London, ON. With the support of Siv-ik Planning and Design Inc., they are exploring a potential new low-rise, medium density development on the site.
We understand that change in neighbourhoods warrants conversation. This website provides an opportunity for those who are interested to learn about the vision for the site early on in the planning process and to share their thoughts. The project team is committed to engaging with local residents at multiple points in the process.

In May 2023, the project team published and shared our "Project Backgrounder" to help residents learn more about the planning process and the preliminary vision for the redevelopment of the site.
Stemming from the preliminary design principles which we shared previously and considering feedback received through the first phase of our engagement program, we prepared a detailed Concept Plan for the project. The Concept Plan was the next step in the evolution of the design for this project.
The concept includes a two-story townhouse building containing seven units and a three-storey back-to-back (stacked) townhouse building containing twelve units. In total, the proposed development includes 21 residential units.
In August 2023, a Zoning By-law Amendment application was submitted to the City. The City circulated the application internally with various municipal departments for review. Once the City deemed the application complete, a Notice of Public Meeting was sent out to all properties within 120m of the project site.

Feedback received through our outreach program will be used to inform our understanding of the local context and, where possible, shape some elements of the design of the project.
