Vision ‘74 Inc. is charitable, non-profit organization providing a diverse range of residential and health care services in the Sarnia community.

In cooperation with current owner/operator, Ohana Landing, Vision 74’ Inc. is planning for a new, mid-rise housing development on the properties referred to as 799 & 811 London Road.

With the support of Siv-ik Planning and Design Inc., a Zoning By-law Amendment application has been prepared which would permit the redevelopment of the underused portions of these properties for new housing.
 
We understand that change in neighbourhoods warrants conversation. This website provides an opportunity for those who are interested to learn about the vision for the site and to share their thoughts. The project team is committed to engaging with local residents throughout the process.

The concept plan prepared by Siv-ik Planning & Design Inc. envisions a 6-storey apartment building with 45 units, a 4-storey apartment building with 40 units, and the retention of the 3-storey Ohana Landing apartment building with seven (7) existing units. The site design accommodates two separate entrances to surface parking areas for the new apartment buildings and the Ohana Landing building. The site design includes a total of 68 surface parking stalls (61 for the new apartment development and 7 for Ohana Landing). Separate amenity areas for the new apartment buildings and Ohana Landing are also accommodated for.

In August 2024, a Zoning By-law Amendment Application was submitted to the City of Sarnia. A formal notice from the City of Sarnia, will be sent out, notifying you of this application and inviting you to provide comments. At this time, you are able to access the files from the "Speak Up Sarnia" projects page and be able to provide comments directly to the City Planner assigned to the file.
