/ABOUT THE PROJECT
Old Oak Properties Inc. is the owner of 1126-1154 Adelaide Road N., in London ON. The site is commonly referred to as the “Royal Oak Terrace” apartment complex. With the support of Siv-ik Planning and Design Inc., Old Oak is exploring opportunities to add new housing units to underused/vacant portions of the property. The preliminary concept plan envisions two 14-storey apartment buildings being developed along Adelaide Road North.
We understand that change in neighbourhoods warrants conversation. This website provides an opportunity for those who are interested to learn about the vision for the site and to share their thoughts. The project team is committed to engaging with local residents throughout the process.

The preliminary concept plan envisions the development of two new 14-storey residential apartment buildings, each containing 215 residential units. In total, the development would add 430 units to the site while maintaining 551 existing units. A total of 563 new parking stalls will be added to the site. Two primary vehicular access points will be maintained along Adelaide Street North.

Once a Zoning By-law Amendment Application is submitted, you will receive a formal notice from the City, notifying you of this application and inviting you to provide comments. At that time, you will be able to access the files from the City of London Planning Applications website and be able to provide comments directly to the City Planner assigned to the file.
This website is part of our “developer-led” communications/engagement program that provides another easy and accessible way for residents to learn about the project and provide feedback.

/HOW IS MY FEEDBACK USED?
Feedback received through our outreach program will be used to inform our understanding of the local context and, where possible, shape some elements of the design of the project. We acknowledge that change is difficult and that no outcome will satisfy all interested parties completely. As such, the project team cannot integrate everything suggested by our neighbours and the community at-large. However, we commit to:
-
Providing you with quality and up-to-date information about the project.
-
Helping you to understand how you can participate in the process.
-
Asking for your thoughts and perspectives.
-
Sharing what we have heard and our team’s response to it.
