/ABOUT THE PROJECT
In March of 2022, an Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment application were approved by the City of London for 517, 521 and 525 Fanshawe Park Road E. The 2022 amendments were intended to enable the development of a 6-storey apartment building on those three properties.
Since the approval of the original amendments in 2022, the City of London has made changes to the London Plan (the City of London Official Plan). Those changes allow for greater height/intensity at this location. Additionally, Royal Premier Homes (the developer) has acquired 1536 Geary Avenue to include the property within the overall development plan.
With the support of Siv-ik Planning and Design Inc., Royal Premier Homes is proposing an updated development plan for a new 8-storey apartment building, containing up to 310 dwelling units. A total of 225 parking spaces will be provided on site through a combination of surface level and underground parking.
We understand that change in neighbourhoods warrants conversation. This website provides an opportunity to learn about the updated vision for this site early on in the planning process and to share their thoughts. The project team is committed to engaging with local residents through the process.
