/ABOUT THE PROJECT
In February 2022, an application was submitted for the project site municipally referred to as 801 Sarnia Road. A Zoning By-law Amendment was approved to permit the development of a six-storey apartment building. Since the previous rezoning approval for the project site, the vision for development in the city and characteristics of the housing market in London have changed significantly. In light of these changes, Royal Premier Homes (the developer), with the support of Siv-ik Planning and Design Inc., is considering a new concept for the site which involves the development of a 10-storey apartment building.
We understand that change in neighbourhoods warrants conversation. This website provides an opportunity for those who are interested to learn about the vision for the site early on in the planning process and to share their thoughts. The project team is committed to engaging with local residents at multiple points in the process.

In October 2024, the project team published and shared our "Project Backgrounder" to help residents learn more about the planning process and the preliminary vision for redevelopment of this site.
The preliminary concept plan prepared by Zedd Architecture Inc. envisions the development of a 10-storey residential apartment building, containing a total of 182 residential units. A total of 91 surface parking stalls will be developed with the project.
The Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Application has been submitted and a formal notice from the City of London, notifying you of this application and inviting you to provide comments, has been circulated.
